More evidence of how being in charge and dictating to others thrills them. These are the types of people that want to be the ruling elite and who scorn those who aren’t part of what they consider the superior class. I think they’re scum. (CDC), Mandy Cohen, fondly recalled how she and her colleague concocted Covid
mandates during her time as North Carolina Health Director:
“When she [another state health official] was like, ‘Are you gonna let them have
professional football?’ And I was like, ‘Nope!’ And she’s like, ‘OK, neither are we!’
[Giggles] Um, so, you know, it was conversations like that.”
As one observer put it, apparently “following the science” is just two junior high

No matter the depths to which they plunge, I don’t stoop to their level, choosing to use respectable words, but I agree it is appalling and disgusting to hear how they talk about “us.” I used to work for a woman who would refer to those of us who worked for her, or others she felt superior to, as “You people.” They think they are superior, but the only reason they are on top is that scum rises. :)
The cream of the crop don’t want to be bosses. They just want to live a quiet and peaceable life. So the scum rises to the top and we get stuck with them bossing us around.
Politicians get into office and even those that had good intentions (or seemed to) change and become part of the machine, no longer one of us, but one of them. They continue to do a terrible job, but there they stay, getting re-elected and causing more trouble with each cycle. How does this happen? Why do people continue to elect them? I just watched a liberal whom I admire greatly, Naomi Wolf, give a what for slap on Emerald Robinsons show to Wallensky and her testimony. Reminds me a lot of Coquin de Chien's letter. Bravo to them both. Its about time someone got angry with these smug self satisfied people.

I got here after reading yourvshort stury about Bill. On this stream i only got a far as watching your Rumble video on presentation at the state house. Calm and composed you are while I wept about all the children's deaths. The indifference at the end showing these people mindlessly not even acknowledging you and flippantly moving on to talk about a change of room for next meeting. UNBELIEVABLE . I cried and sat stunned for 15 minutes. Your story about Bill helped me understand because of Maslows higherachy as to the indifference these people exhibit. Are they this callous when it happens to their own family? Cuz it will. I'm not sure how to navigate this world if such indifference towards human life. I am still stunned. I have been for several years now. Thank you for all you do.

I belonged to a religion that said for decades there would come a time when we would have to reply on our own spiritual connection (powers of discernment) and YET when covid hit "they" leadership and a large part of the membership ostracized those that wouldn't follow all government mandates. It's mind boggling. Need less to say I don't belong to that membership any longer. Thank you for strength and willingness to stand in your convictions. Your work imparts a soul and spirit to this that we desperately need.
