O Canada, what happened?
Two articles in one. I couldn’t decide which to go with.
Coquin de Chien (“CdC”) descends from eleven generations of québécois living three centuries in Québec. Je me souviens!
Please, Canadians from all points on the political and COVID-19 spectra, read this article to understand the viewpoint of one who cares about Canadian souls and the future of how you will consider and encounter fellow Canadians post-COVID-19. This article is about whether Canadians will treat each other with grace and national camaraderie or something else wicked, selfish, and coerced into the culture.
In the line, We stand on guard for thee, if we comprises The People of Canada and thee comprises “Canada,” what is Canada in this context? Does Canada comprise The People and culture of Canada or does it comprise the government of Canada? In other words, for what are you standing on guard: 1) your own self and only those who agree with you, or 2) all your countrymen, all Canadians and your free way of life?
The National Anthem of Canada … not just a bunch of words sung before a hockey game, eh.

Introduction
Canadians individually disagree on the necessity and efficacy of government interventions regarding COVID-19.
The suspension of natural rights in civil emergencies is accepted and codified in most western nations. This agreement between The People and government includes the continual evaluation of the level of emergency and the appropriate extent of personal liberty invasion by government in response. This should be the essence of the COVID-19 debate in Canada. This debate, however, has been censored by government.
Great philosophers shaped much of western culture and society. Governments implemented their contemplations of natural law. These philosophers would vehemently disagree with The People abdicating their very thought processes to government. This is the current societal divide in Canada and elsewhere. Some Canadians have put faith in government to think for them rather than doing the work to think for themselves and fellow Canadians.
When the plurality of citizens abdicates, fully, the evaluation of equity balance between public interest and individual liberty, to government, and the government then coerces action from not only the members of the plurality, but also their fellow countrymen, who invested time to learn and think for themselves, then the natural law system is broken, enabling government to rise in tyranny through mandated conformance beyond the plurality, unjustly, to all citizens. This can sometimes manifest not through evil intentions of government operators, but through government response to the plurality’s demands born from fear.
More likely, however, the plurality’s demands for coercion for all to comply result directly from government control over communication, better known as propaganda. Government will take the ground ceded by the compliant. When the compliant are unknowingly tricked to be in perfect alignment with government mandates, and the compliant are the plurality, then government is the bad actor, the compliant are useful pawns, and the non-compliant become victimized for as long as the compliant are the plurality.
Is it bad that the plurality would get what they want in coercing non-compliant countrymen to do what is desired by the plurality? Is that not simply democracy? Yes, it is democracy; and it is mob rule, tyranny of the majority, tyranny of the many, or “tyranny of the plurality,” as Thomas Aquinas (Tommaso D’Aquino) expressed. It lacks virtue, righteousness, and honor and is born from fear instilled by government communication.
Now in Canada, those who place ultimate trust of their bodies, their health, and their lives in government actors are trying to force others to also entrust government with personal health decisions regardless of individualized needs and attributes, regardless of prior clotting issues, hearing or sight issues, prior Guillain Barre syndrome, prior Bell’s Palsy, family history of any of the aforementioned, or personal physicians’ counter-opinions. Clearly, in Canada, the personal physician’s opinion has been supplanted by the government’s orders; and the plurality have abandoned their oaths to stand on guard for their countrymen, all their countrymen. Fear, stoked by government, has kept the plurality each on guard for “me” and not for “thee”.
Did the government usurp power or did The People cede power in exchange for the promise of safety from government? Both must be true because the only power governments have is that which is ceded by The People as individuals with natural rights. The current consent of the governed in Canada, however, is the result of fraudulent misinformation from government and media to The People. Government failed and continues to fail to re-evaluate both or either of the emergency and the mandated government measures. Government has breached its duty of care to The People.
The virus is deadly to the old, infirm, obese, and diabetic. Media and politicians, having not re-evaluated the emergency, are still acting as if it is a terribly deadly disease for all. COVID-19 is not much worse than seasonal influenza. Data from around the world clearly shows this, if only the compliant would read and think for themselves, not abdicate thinking to government.

Thesis
The People of Canada ceded natural rights to the government when they succumbed to fear and failed to say “No!” to government’s usurpation of those natural rights.
People who sought power came to power. Government actors are not on guard for thee. They wanted and took power for themselves, not for The People. And they gained that power by coercing The People into a state of fear so that The People would abdicate their power to government.
Each RCMP swore an oath to The People, not to government. Their fiduciary duty (to act in the interest of the People and not in their own interest or the interest of government) is to The People. Throughout history, thugs (in government issued uniforms) sought to maintain employment in times of tyranny. When RCMP set aside their oath to The People for personal needs (maintaining employment), the fiduciary duty is broken; and the officers are acting outside the scope of employment. The scope of employment is within the oath to The People and not at the whim of current government actors. If government orders are contrary to the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, then the orders are unlawful and RCMP is obligated by law to disobey.
Canadians need you. Are you there for them? Whether you agree with their politics or COVID-19 opinions does not matter. Are you on guard for your countrymen and their natural rights? Or are you of the many who said nothing and watched in 1692 Salem, in 1939 Germany, in 1978 Jonestown?
Following is a list of physicians and other Canadians who spoke up for you, not only for themselves. They put their careers, income, assets, community standing on the line because they felt it was right to stand up for what they believe. And they have every right to stand up. In most cases, these brave few are honoring other oaths they took to stand on guard for the health of all people and not simply bow to government authority. Government has no authority but that which you cede to it.
What will you do to care for these Canadians? They deserve your support regardless of your politics.

When you call Canada’s national healthcare system, Health Canada, for medical advice, you are contacting a government centrally planned, centrally controlled organization with little freedom to attend to your unique needs. You might as well let an AI bot diagnose and treat you.
Conclusion
Do you feel glorious, free, strong, stalwart, and steadfast? Are you on guard for the way of life Canadians have enjoyed for more than a century?
Imagine, please, that you stand up for your countrymen listed above and others like them. How will you feel? Hint: it feels really good to act virtuously, righteously, generously, and kindly (regardless of your politics).

Introduction
Fear causes people to retreat to base level needs of food, water, medicine, safety.
Fear is caused en masse by famine, war, pestilence, disease.
The government of Canada used fear to communicate (propagandize) The People into abdicating rights to government. Government has since refused to return those rights despite there being no real emergency worthy of the usurpation of those rights. That debate is hidden from The People. Censorship and demonization of others is not needed when there is a true emergency. People come together in a true emergency. They do not separate into camps. Government propaganda is intended to divide The People making them more easily controlled.
Canadians, if you do not speak out upon seeing government abuse fellow Canadians , you are complicit in the abuse and will forever live in shame for not acting in the moment, which may well be the moment of your judgment. How will you fare?
Thesis
Formerly stalwart, steadfast, glorious, strong, and free Canadians were coerced through fear by government propaganda to selfishly think only of themselves rather than standing on guard for the virtuous Canadian culture of freedom that existed before COVID-19
Canadians may disagree about the necessity and efficacy of government orders. This natural law and rights debate is the crux of the issue. Why has government suppressed debate? Why do they silence and coerce all opposition and control media as often as they can? This is not normal in a free society.
Centralization of anything is the least efficient system. If you never take an economics class or an engineering systems methodology class, know this fact. Rather than distributed systems of competence such as regional hospitals with physicians practicing medicine as they have been taught and per their decades of experience, the corrupt Colleges of Physicians and Surgeons have usurped the power of all medical diagnoses and set the individual physicians aside. This centralization of power in diagnosing and treating patients is leading and will lead to inefficiencies resulting in death and maim. It is already happening. You likely know someone who could have been saved by a doctor’s wisdom, knowledge, and creativity in the unique moment and case of the patient, but the doctor was coerced into a centralized treatment regimen by the College of Physicians.
When the government decides that it is not economical to provide a life saving treatment for your child or sibling or spouse, remember then that you abdicated your natural rights to central authority.
Conclusion
Be stalwart, steadfast, glorious, strong, and free Canadians again. Shed the fear instilled by government propaganda. Think of your fellow Canadians, not only your personal fear. Stand on guard for the virtuous Canadian culture of freedom that existed before COVID-19. Enjoy the life you once had in Canada. Reject the new Great Reset being thrust upon you by government actors who have only their own interest and their power in mind, not yours. Life was so good in Canada for the past century. What have they done to you in the past two years? Whatever it is, reject it. Embrace your fellow Canadians in agreement on natural law, individual liberties, and the history that all flow from the Great Charter.

Thank you for sharing this important message. I am among this list of Canadians who has stood up for our democratic republic values, ethics and laws. I’m a family and palliative care physician in ontario, who had my licence suspended march 17th 2022 for upholding my oath and protecting my patients. I’m taking the college to court august 16th to hopefully have their unlawful orders evaluated objectively and pray I’ll be back to helping my 1600 patients soon.
The mob and the state go hand in hand. The State views people as objects and manufactures mobs into partisan formations. Agamben has written extensive on the State of Exception both before and during Covid.
